Job Descrption
Carpentry Expertise
- Utilize carpentry skills to construct, install, and repair various marine structures, including decks, bulkheads, and cabinetry.
- Ensure all carpentry work meets industry standards, specifications, and safety regulations.
Blueprint Interpretation:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate implementation of design plans.
Material Selection and Procurement:
- Identify and select appropriate materials for marine carpentry projects, taking into consideration durability, resistance to marine environments, and budget constraints.
- Coordinate with suppliers to procure high-quality materials within specified timelines.
Precision Measurement:
- Accurately measure and mark materials to ensure precise cuts and fits, maintaining the structural integrity and aesthetic appeal of marine... elements.
Installation and Repair
- Execute the installation, maintenance, and repair of marine carpentry components such as doors, windows, furniture, and other interior and exterior structures.
- Conduct inspections to identify and address any issues or defects promptly.
Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with fellow marine craftsmen, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of carpentry work with other aspects of marine construction projects.
Safety Compliance
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment for oneself and fellow team members.
- Regularly inspect and maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
- Provide regular progress reports to supervisors and project managers.
Client Interaction-
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific requirements and preferences.
- Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction with the finished carpentry work.
Continuous Learning
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and carpentry techniques to enhance skills and contribute to the improvement of marine carpentry processes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
