Are you a dedicated teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and associated social and communication difficulties? A specialized SEN school is seeking a Supply Primary Teacher to join their team.
Location: Mitcham, ENG - CR4 1YG
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons tailored to meet the needs of children with ASD.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other specialists to support each child's individual learning journey.
• Promote a safe, encouraging, and stimulating learning environment for pupils with diverse needs.
• Foster students' social, emotional, and personal growth through inclusive teaching practices.
• Adapt teaching strategies to support effective communication and positive behavior.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
• Qualified primary teacher with QTS.
• Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders... or other SEN is highly desirable.
• Strong commitment to inclusive education and supporting every child's individual needs.
• Flexibility, patience, and creativity in adapting to the needs of students.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a collaborative approach.
