About the Job
An opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to join the Housekeeping team at this luxurious new resort. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
• Ensuring all room cleaning by the team meets high standards.
• Implementing and maintaining a thorough cleaning program for all rooms.
• Developing and adhering to a specific cleaning program for furniture and soft furnishings.
• Reporting and ensuring the repair of maintenance issues to enhance guest satisfaction and staff efficiency.
• Keeping all storerooms tidy and in good order.
• Reporting incidents, complaints, suspicious persons, or safety hazards immediately.
• Reporting any... accidents to Security.
• Liaising with the Engineering Department to ensure repeated faults are repaired and meet hotel standards.
• Assisting the Housekeeping Manager in maintaining the standards of all floral and plant arrangements throughout the hotel.
• Daily liaison with room attendants regarding staffing levels, operations, and daily activities.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
• A minimum of 3 years of experience within the international luxury hospitality industry.
• A degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment.
• Regional experience is preferred.
