Position : House Manager - English proficiency required
Location : Dubai, UAE
We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of a House Manager for a private household in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7-8 years of experience in private households or the hospitality industry, with expertise in managing the care of valuable materials, sensitive fabrics, and overall house management protocols.
Responsibilities :
Housekeeping (including cleaning art and valuable material):
• Oversee the daily general cleaning of the residence to the highest standards, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
• Direct the daily servicing of each room, focusing on impeccable cleanliness and tidiness.
• Supervise the expert making of beds with crisp linens, reflecting a commitment to flawless presentation.
• Manage the thorough vacuuming, mopping, and polishing of floors to maintain a spotless and gleaming environment.
• Ensure... all surfaces, including furniture, countertops, and fixtures, are meticulously wiped down and polished to remove dust, fingerprints, and smudges.
• Coordinate the cleaning of appliances inside and out, including delicate surfaces, and maintain kitchen hygiene to the highest standards.
• Oversee bathroom sanitation procedures, including scrubbing and disinfecting, to ensure optimal cleanliness and hygiene.
• Monitor the replenishment of luxury amenities and daily fresh water bottles to maintain the highest standards of hospitality.
• Supervise daily trash removal and replacement of liners to uphold cleanliness throughout the residence.
• Implement organization protocols to maintain a clutter-free environment and visually appealing space.
Laundry (including sensitive fabric treatment):
• Manage the comprehensive care of all laundry items, including delicate fabrics and luxury brands.
• Ensure stains are treated and removed using appropriate products and techniques, preserving the quality of garments.
• Direct the washing, drying, ironing, and pressing processes to maintain fabric integrity and presentation.
House Management (protocol, orders, stock, service providers, other):
• Develop and enforce house protocols to ensure consistent standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest readiness.
• Coordinate household orders and stock management, including inventory control and replenishment of supplies.
• Liaise with service providers, such as maintenance personnel or contractors, to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
• Oversee household staff, delegating tasks and responsibilities as needed to maintain optimal operation.
Specialized Cleaning and Care:
• Direct the treatment of luxury and sensitive materials with the utmost care and attention to detail, ensuring proper cleaning and preservation.
• Coordinate flower arrangements, including regular maintenance such as changing water and trimming stems, to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the residence.
• Manage inventory of household items, including clothing, linens, and amenities, with a focus on rotation and maintenance to prevent wear and tear.
• Develop and enforce house protocols to ensure consistent standards of cleanliness and organization are maintained.
F loral Arrangement and Presentation:
• Coordinate the arrangement of fresh flowers to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the residence.
• Ensure beautiful presentation and placement of house articles, including furniture, decor, and amenities, to create an inviting atmosphere.
• Keep the house consistently ready to receive guests, maintaining a welcoming and hospitable environment.
Requirements :
• Minimum 7-8 years of experience in private households or the hospitality industry
• Fluent in English
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed
