QA/QC Engineer (Civil/MEP Background) for Abu Dhabi/ Dubai at Belhasa Group

Job Descrption
1. Responsible to implement Project quality plan, Inspection test plan at all stages and throughout the project. Ensure work is proceeding as per approved drawings and project specifications.
2. Internal inspection and witness of all works and initiating inspection notifications to the consultant.
3. Ensure that all reports are verified to meet contract requirements and records are maintained as evidence of product quality.
4. Monitor all material on delivery and ensure all incoming materials inspected and approved as per approved material submittals and specifications.
5. Controlling all inspection activities on site related to quality matters.
6. Ensure the safety is adhered to at site.
7. Assure all technical documents relative to site quality control are current status.
8. Monitor the disposition of all issued nonconformance reports.
9. Coordinate all QA/QC activities with the site personal.
10. Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project... quality management system. Recommend and implement improvements when required.
11. Coordinate and monitor all execution team and sub contractors team and their work.
12. Ensure the requirements of the company QMS in accordance with ISO9001-2000 is followed.
13. Implementing all QA / QC systems at all the sites under his jurisdiction.
14. To conduct inspection of raw materials bought out items and review of material test certification and specification requirement.
15. To interface and coordinates with Consultants / Clients for QC matters & coordinate with third party inspections agencies for all related inspection activities.
16. Prepare, Plan, organize & implement test plans according to project requirements and Consultant / Client specifications.
17. To plan & conduct subcontractor inspection activities and reviews of subcontractor work.
18. Inspect and supervise all inspection activities related to Civil/Mechanical works. Organizing for surveillance and Inspection activities as per the requirements.
19. Organizing for general inspection on all subcontractor work.
20. Providing necessary inputs / guidance to respective site staff for more improvement and to achieve project feasibility.
21. Monitors contracts with approved quality control plans make recommendations for improvement for standards.
22. Responsible for quality control lab, generating documents as per the contractual requirement or procedure.
23. Attending all meetings with connect to meetings Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
24. Perform Inspection to verify compliance of all the sites under his jurisdiction.
25. Coordinate and collect material sampling, organizing for testing of materials and submitting Material Test Reports to the concerned authorities.
26. Preparing non compliance document with inspection report periodically.
27. Review requirements of the specification and relevant standards and ensure understandings and compliance with the specified requirements.
28. Responsible to carry out the specified inspection / test in accordance with relevant Inspection / Test Plans, and ensure that Quality Records are maintained and signed - off by the Project Manager / Construction Manager / Consultants / Client. (Including the works of the Subcontractors.)
29. Responsible for preparation of method statements in consultation with construction manager, Project Engineer and same should approved by consultant for execution of work.
30. Review drawings for correctness and clarity of information and take necessary action to ensure sufficient information is available, Monitor and ensure that only current / latest revisions of Issued for Construction drawings are being used, and withdraw all superseded drawings from site.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 3 years experience in the same industry in UAE, especially on Swimming Pools, Landscape (Soft & Hard).
• Extensive Technical knowledge. Good Interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English, Hindi and Arabic Added Advantage
• MS Office proficient.
• Has leadership skills and a Team player
• able to handle extreme work pressures.
Skills & Knowledge: A knowledge of Swimming pool & MEP Equipment, renovation & maintenance of Swimming Pools and Water Features.
