Job Descrption

Job Responsibilities:

a. 3D & Design Interpretation: Collaborate with the design team to review 3D models and designs,

ensuring materials and finishes are selected based on the visual and functional intent of the

project.

b. Develop Specifications: Translate 3D designs and architectural drawings into detailed material

specifications, ensuring they are aligned with company standards and project requirements.

c. Sample Management: Oversee the selection, preparation, and approval of material samples,

ensuring they are packed and shipped in accordance with K4 standards to prevent damage during

transit and storage.

d. Ensure Design Compliance: Verify that the materials and samples are aligned with the approved 3D designs and meet both aesthetic and technical criteria set by the project.

e. Budget Consideration: Work closely with the procurement and finance teams to ensure that all selected materials meet the project’s design and functionality requirements while staying within the... allocated budget.

f. Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to source materials, ensuring they adhere to company quality standards and are delivered on time. Evaluate supplier proposals for cost, quality, and compliance with project specifications.

g. Quality Control: Ensure that all materials used on-site meet company standards, including performance, durability, and safety requirements, and are installed according to the design specifications.

h. Site Inspection: Conduct regular site visits to ensure that materials are installed correctly and conform to the 3D design specifications and K4 standards.

i. Mock-ups and Testing: Coordinate the testing and approval of material mock-ups to ensure they meet design and specification requirements before full implementation.

j. Sustainability Focus: Promote the use of eco-friendly materials in line with the project’s

sustainability goals and company guidelines.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Material Science, Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in material specification or interior fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and their applications.
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office, material management systems).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.

Preferred Skills:
• Certification in materials engineering or interior design (e.g., PMP, LEED).
• Experience with sustainable materials and green building practices.
• Familiarity with project management tools and software.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
