Job Descrption
MIRA-Search is on the lookout for a passionate and innovative Fashion Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to conceptualize and create original designs that resonate with our target audience while keeping up with current fashion trends. Responsibilities:
• Presentation of trends in colors, silhouettes, fabrics, prints, and details in Mood board format based on the analysis of trends of world agencies (WGSN, Pantone, and others), the first line of clothing brands, direct competitors and sales results of collections, assessment of their acceptability for the relevant market, adaptation to its needs
• Creating mud boards and correcting sketches (main image, technical sketch, sketch with measurements, sketch in color) of models in AI and selection of materials
• Preparation of concepts, and color maps for seasonal... collections
• Preparation of the assortment plan
• Design of collections, drawing sketches across the entire range (outerwear, sewing group, knitwear, jeans);
• Control of the printer's work
• Development of models, preparation of sketches, preparation of technical documentation (main image, technical sketch, sketch with measurements, sketch in color)
• Prepare graphic materials for the collection (tables, presentations)
• Active interaction with designers, technologists, cutters, tailors, full control over the production process of samples
• Preparation of technical documentation on products for their transfer to production
• Analysis of sales of the current collection together with the sales department
• Development of collections taking into account the assortment matrix
• Print development (welcome)
• Control of the product's fit on the figure, and technological processing of the product
• Maintaining the model from sketch to production
• Understanding Brand DNA
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in fashion design, preferably in a mid-to-high segment brand
• Degree in Fashion Design or a related field
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and proficiency in design
• Deep understanding of fashion trends and brand positioning
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proficient in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CAD)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Willingness to undertake a test task as part of the selection process
• Knowledge of sustainable fashion practices is a plus
• Graduates or students of the last educational year of Central Saint Martins, Antwerp Royal academy of fine arts, Instituto Marangoni
