We are looking for an Associate Architect with expertise in Commercial, Residential and hospitality design. The role involves contributing significantly to X-architects design capability and participating in various stages of project development. The Associate will be responsible for leading the design of complex projects, working closely with Internal and External Stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. They will oversee the development of design concepts, detailed design drawings, specifications, and other project documentation, and will ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.

Job Requirements:
• Create the project vision, produce conceptual sketches and design reports.
• Lead the design process from conceptual phase through to the construction documentation and ensuring the design idea is consistent and accurately executed.
• Prepare, and develop drawings, models, images, and other documents relating to the design. Meet with clients to... discuss the design requirements for new constructions, alterations, or repairs.
• Collaborate closely, with members of the external design team and other associated organizations or companies.
• Coordinate the design with all disciplines, subconsultants, and stakeholders.
• Proactively check and coordinate project documents (including but not limited to multi-disciplinary drawings, design reports, technical specifications, etc.) and ensure they meet Client requirements and Industry Standards.
• Take ownership for preparation of discipline drawings for submission to the Statutory Authorities. Developed knowledge of local & international codes, regulations and submission requirements.
• Set the overall strategy for producing the documents and identifies the sheets planned for each stage of the work. This includes defining how data will be organized into files and which elements will be incorporated in a Building Information Model (BIM).
• Mentor and advise team members, participate in professional development review and “Lessons Learned” sessions.
• Registered Engineer/Architect in the UAE.

Personal Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• State-issued architect's license (mandatory in most jurisdictions).
• Several years of experience in architectural design and project management, with a proven track record of successful projects.
• Proficiency in architectural software and design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
• Strong communication and presentation skills for interacting with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Leadership and team management abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods.
• Creativity and a strong design sensibility.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling.
• 15+ years of work experience
