Job Summary:
Design Mart Contracting LLC, based in Dubai, UAE, is seeking a skilled MEP Draughtsman with proven experience in interior fit-out projects. The candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, ensuring they meet project specifications and comply with local regulations. The role requires close coordination with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure designs are precise and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate MEP drawings for interior fit-out projects using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop comprehensive design plans.
• Ensure all MEP drawings comply with local building codes and regulations.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback and project changes.
• Coordinate... with different disciplines (architectural, structural, etc.) to ensure fully integrated designs.
• Produce as-built drawings and ensure all designs reflect actual site conditions.
• Assist in material take-offs and quantity estimation for procurement purposes.
• Attend site visits as required to ensure accuracy and quality of the work.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as an MEP Draughtsman, particularly in interior fit-out projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit or other BIM software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems within the context of interior fit-outs.
• Knowledge of UAE MEP regulations and local building codes.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Drafting/Engineering.
• Previous experience working on construction or interior fit-out projects.
• Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes is an advantage.
