Job Descrption
Conduct field visits: MEP Mechanical Draftsmen may conduct field visits to gather information, measurements, and photographs needed to accurately create mechanical plans.
Create material lists: They create detailed material lists for mechanical components, including pipes, ducts, fittings, valves, and HVAC equipment.
Collaborate with other team members: MEP Mechanical Draftsmen collaborate with other members of the MEP team, including electrical and plumbing draftsmen, engineers, and project managers, to ensure that all systems are properly integrated.
Follow safety protocols: They ensure that mechanical plans and components meet safety standards and regulations, and that they comply with local and... national codes.
Update and revise plans: MEP Mechanical Draftsmen update and revise plans as necessary throughout the project, based on changes in design or construction.
