Job Descrption
Conduct field visits: MEP Electrical Draftsmen may conduct field visits to gather information, measurements, and photographs needed to accurately create electrical plans.
Create material lists: They create detailed material lists for electrical components, including wiring, conduits, junction boxes, panels, and fixtures.
Collaborate with other team members: MEP Electrical Draftsmen collaborate with other members of the MEP team, including mechanical and plumbing draftsmen, engineers, and project managers, to ensure that all systems are properly integrated.
Follow safety protocols: They ensure that electrical plans and components meet safety standards and regulations, and that they comply with local... and national codes.
Update and revise plans: MEP Electrical Draftsmen update and revise plans as necessary throughout the project, based on changes in design or construction.
Maintain documentation: They maintain accurate records and documentation of all electrical plans and revisions.
Provide technical support: MEP Electrical Draftsmen provide technical support to construction teams and other professionals involved in the project, as needed.

Qualifications for an MEP Electrical Draftsman typically include a degree in electrical engineering or a related field, as well as experience with CAD software and knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
