Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a BIM Structural Engineer. As a BIM Structural Engineer at Engisoft Engineering, you will be responsible for utilizing building information modeling (BIM) software and techniques to create and manage digital representations of structural components in construction projects. Your day-to-day tasks will include... creating and maintaining structural drawings, coordinating with project stakeholders, and ensuring accuracy and adherence to BIM standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed 3D models of structural systems, including bridges, using BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360).
Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate structural designs into overall project models.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for BIM implementation.
Perform structural analysis and design calculations to ensure compliance with building codes and standards.
Coordinate and resolve conflicts in the BIM model with other disciplines.
Generate construction documents, including drawings and specifications, from the BIM model.
Conduct clash detection and coordination meetings to identify and resolve issues early in the design process.
Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM software and best practices.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, software developments, and BIM standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
2 to 4 years of experience as a BIM Structural Engineer.
Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Previous experience working in a reputable company within the architecture or construction industry.
Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
Skilled in modeling bridges in Revit.
Strong understanding of structural design principles and construction documentation.
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for BIM implementation.
Knowledge of project coordination and collaboration using BIM methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in creating and reviewing BIM models and construction documents.
