Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support to our procurement team and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services for our company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting the procurement team in sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and negotiating prices.
• Maintaining accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and other procurement documents.
• Coordinating with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Conducting market research to identify new suppliers and products that meet our quality and cost requirements.
• Preparing and processing purchase orders and ensuring that all necessary approvals are obtained.
• Tracking and monitoring inventory levels and assisting in inventory management.
• Communicating with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and providing timely updates... on the status of orders.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
• Maintaining good relationships with suppliers and ensuring timely resolution of any issues or disputes.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role in an Events Services Companies.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
• Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management principles.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
