Position: Global Oil Gas Technical Accounting Advisor
This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran Saudi Arabia. About the Company This company engagesin the exploration production transportation and sale of crude oiland natural gas. It operates through the following segments:

Job Summary We areseeking a Technical Accounting Advisor to join the Controllers Organization within the Finance Strategy & Development businessline in This... Company. The Controllers Organization acts as This Companys primary representative forfinancial and income tax reporting to management by producing the Companys consolidated financial statements subsidiaries financialstatements and other management reports. The Controllers Organization also provides controls/governance accounting andadvisory services related to This Companys interests.

The Controller Organization actively seeks compliance of allorganizations regarding controls over financial reporting andgenerally achieving good corporate governance throughout the Company.

Key Responsibilities:

Research accounting literature to address current issuesinvolving accounting and financial reporting.

Perform analysis make recommendations and prepareresponses on accounting matters. Prepareconfidential and technical financial accounting papers.

Review transaction agreements to ensure compliance with

This Companys controls. Assess control andgovernance environments among This Companys group and documentresults. Provide Joint venture and M&Aintegration support from a financial accountingperspective. Offer ad hoc financial expertiseas required. Demonstrate a strong level ofexpertise with IFRS standards and their applicability within avariety of industries with significant experience within the energyindustry being desirable. Establish personalcredibility with both internal and external clients demonstrateexcellent interpersonal skills and work well with fellow teammembers.

Possess the ability to planprioritize and coordinate the teams workload to ensure meetingcritical deadlines. Add value by deliveringhighquality work and proactively overcoming issues and challengesto ensure timely delivery. Demonstratefinancial analytical skills including the ability to evaluate bothindustry and individual company information and comprehend advancedaccounting topics. Work with minimalsupervision possess good project management skills and offerlogical and innovative solutions to complex issues.

Requirements :

Willingness to relocate to Dhahran Saudi Arabia. Hold abachelors degree in accounting or its equivalent.

Possess professional certifications such as CPA CA ACCAor CMA which are desirable. A graduate degree is alsodesirable. Have a minimum of ten years ofrelevant experience in various industries including publicaccounting accounting policy IFRS interpretation internal auditingfinancial statement consolidation financial analysis financialstatement preparation accounting research mergers and acquisitionstaxation process/change management or strategy/managementconsulting. Specific operational experience inenergyrelated activities infrastructure utilities (public and/orprivate) joint ventures and subsidiaries government sectornonprofits and public administration would be desirable.

Specific corporate business integration experienceincluding startup experience and related activities would also bedesirable. Possess extensive knowledge ofaccounting policies and procedures established pursuant to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as well as astrong understanding of the content of financial statementsprepared within the IFRS framework. Haveextensive knowledge of accounting policies and procedures in theoil and gas industry and the ability to conduct research on an IFRSor This Company accounting or financial reportingmatter.

Demonstrate the capability to preparepreliminary findings analyze alternative approaches and recommend apreferred action for This Company. Havedemonstrated the capability to make presentations or lead meetingsincluding at the executive level. Leadershipskills are desirable. Proficiency in both oraland written English and Arabic is required.
