Material Control Manager at GS Engineering & Construction

Job Descrption
• Responsible for material control and handling.
• Responsible for local purchasing & transportation at site.
• Responsible for plant construction goals. Establish and maintain community relations. Foster a well-trained and motivated staff.
• Analyze materials and data for compliance with QA/QC requirements.
• Monitor performance, ensuring quality control and creating documentation.
• Recommend improvements and help with alterations to any construction plans.
• Oversee the supply chain and delivery of materials.
• Other duties as assigned by the management.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s/College degree in Material Science or Engineering (B.S. degree is much preferable).
• Advanced reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in English.
• Good oral communication skills (meetings with contractors, senior authority management, technical disciplines).
• Middle East experience preferable.
• Minimum of 10 years work experience in oil & gas field.
• Pre-contract... experience.
