Job Descrption
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers to understand project scope and requirements.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns for labor, materials, and overhead.
• Source and evaluate subcontractor bids and material prices.
• Create and maintain a database of unit costs and pricing for various materials and labor.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and suggest alternatives where applicable.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management and clients.
• Assist in preparing bid proposals and tender submissions.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather relevant information.
• Monitor and track project costs during execution to ensure budget compliance.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of estimating experience in interior... fit-out projects.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and building codes.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1.00 - AED1,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
• Dubai: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
