►Oversee financial department employees, including financial assistants and accountants
►Contract outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary
►Provide monthly and yearly financial reports according to management requirements.
► Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as invoicing, and payroll,other transactions
►Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
►Seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the company
►Research and analyse financial reports and market trends
►Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
►Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports
►Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings
►Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be... used for financial purposes
►Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
►Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
►Responsible for monthly and Year1y Closing of books· of accounts
►Prepare weekly/monthly Bank Reconciliation
►Prepare monthly financialreports (Income Statement/Ad-hoc reports) and provide variance
►Produce error-free accounting reports and present results.
►Responsible for month end adjustments, including project progress billing I unearned revenue assessments, inventory valuations, provisions, etc.
►Participate in analyzing financial information and provide insights to the Management Team
►Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes
►Prepare financial statements, budgets and forecasts according to schedules. Take ownership of entering and managing the budget I periodic forecasts in the accounting system.
►Carry out month-end and year-end close process, including the preparation of the monthly report.
►Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
►Support Management in improving financial procedures and implementing new controls or initiatives.
►Proactively identify areas for business improvement or insights. Carry out analysis and make recommendations on potential improvements.
►Prepare and submit weekly/monthly and ad-hoc reports within prescribed timeframes, including carrying out additional analysis, charting and/or modification of reports produced by the accounting system into more comprehensive management reports.
►Where needed and for areas not covered by other team members: Carry out all core accounting tasks such as
►Verifying, posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable
►Issuing Invoices/Delivery notes and other documents as per company policies & procedures.
►Reviewing & encoding expenses, petty cash entries, payroll records, etc as required Posting of accounting transactions in the ORACLE&QUICKBOOKS accurately
►Complete tax report as per group requirement on a monthly basis
►Manage the submission of Tax return & Responsible for the coordination with Audit firm.
