Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Revenue Analyst to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking and analysing revenue streams from approximately 100 to 150 banking partners. This role requires exceptional analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and effective communication abilities to ensure timely follow-up and resolution of revenue-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Revenue Tracking:
• Monitor and analyse revenue generated from banking partnerships, ensuring accuracy in reporting and timely recognition.
• Identify trends and variances in revenue performance and provide insights for improvement.
• Follow-Up and Communication:
• Establish and maintain relationships with banking partners to ensure clear communication regarding revenue matters.
• Proactively follow up on... outstanding payments, discrepancies, and revenue-related inquiries from banks.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve any issues affecting revenue recognition.
• Data Management:
• Maintain accurate records of banking transactions and communications in financial systems.
• Utilize analytical tools and software to track key performance indicators related to revenue.
• Reporting:
• Prepare regular reports on revenue performance for management, highlighting significant trends, issues, and opportunities.
• Assist in the development of forecasts and budgets based on revenue data.
• Compliance and Best Practices:
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies related to revenue management.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices that may affect revenue streams.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with finance, accounting, and operations teams to support revenue-related initiatives and projects.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to enhance revenue processes and reporting methodologies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in revenue analysis, financial analysis, or a related area.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software; familiarity with data analytics tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with external partners.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in reporting and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
• Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance standards.
