Assistant Accountant at Climax Marine Services LLC

Job Descrption
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and
invoices.
• Process day-to-day financial transactions, such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct month-end and year-end closing activities and prepare financial statements in accordance with UAE accounting standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning and decision-making.
• Handle tax-related matters, including VAT calculations and filings, adhering to UAE tax regulations.
• Maintain and update financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Participate in financial audits and ensure all financial documentation is well-organized and readily... accessible.
• Provide financial analysis and reports to management to support strategic business decisions.
Requirements:
• M.com, MBA, ACCA finalist
• 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
• Expert in Excel and QuickBooks.
• Handling Receivables and Payables
• Performing bank reconciliations.
• Prepare Daily sales Report
• Prepare Financial Statements
• Knowledge of VAT.
