Job Descrption
Manage the accounting and financial reporting for intellectual property assets, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.Track and record costs associated with the acquisition, maintenance, and litigation of intellectual property.Prepare and analyze financial statements related to IP assets and investments.Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.Coordinate with legal and IP management teams to understand the financial implications of IP transactions and agreements.Conduct periodic valuations of intellectual property assets.Assist in budgeting and forecasting for IP-related expenses.Support audits by providing documentation and explanations related to IP financials.Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date IP asset registers. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA or similar certification preferred.Experience in accounting for intellectual property or related assets is highly desirable.Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
