You will be working
for a European media and entertainment brand based in London City, who are on a
mission to transforming media and entertainment from the comfort of their
customers' homes. This company has 24 million customers spanning 7 countries, making this an exciting multinational opportunity.
Your new role
You will be working
closely with the Senior Procurement Manager, developing the procurement
strategy for the media category and implementing supplier relationship
management to push them to deliver positive outcomes. You will work alongside
the media team to identify opportunities
to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the media category.
You will be responsible for:
• Targeting cost saving &
consolidation in the media category whilst maintaining quality and
service.
• Owning one of the biggest
budgets in the media category, and working alongside the media team to maximise the use... of spending.
• Work with and influence
stakeholders across Europe to drive efficiency and innovation.
• Manage media audits to help
measure performance across the media team.
• Supplier relationship
management, managing contracts and costs in line with KPIs.
• Help develop and implement
contracts, renewals, procurement initiatives and support the wider
procurement team with RFPs and team projects.
• Network with industry bodies
to understand trends in the market that apply to the media team.
What you'll need to succeed
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to build rapport and relationships with internal and external stakeholders and manage
negotiations, and difficult conversations.
• Previous experience in media
(media agency, media owner etc) and/or in marketing procurement.
• Proven experience in
understanding and negotiating contractual terms.
