Job Descrption
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervise a team of 8-10 employees in accordance with the company policies, procedures and the CBA; including oversight of training, health & safety, and time & attendance
• Work closely with the Production Planner and Quality assurance teams to coordinate all inbound receiving, warehousing
• Manage ongoing inventory cycle counts
• Provide the production team with accurate raw materials in an efficient and timely manner to maximize productivity
• Manage day to day issues with carriers to ensure the efficient unloading and loading of trailers
• Responsible for managing all material handling equipment in conjunction with maintenance to ensure machines are in good working... order
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2 - 3 years of warehouse and inventory supervisory experience in a fast paced unionized manufacturing environment
• Excellent leadership, change management, organization and problem solving skills.
• Experience with SAP or similar systems, including warehouse management (WM or EWM)
• Strong knowledge on KPI’s, Health and Safety, Quality, HACCP, Waste Rate and Run Rates
• Primarily Dayshift with the flexibility to alter start times as required by business needs, including overtime as required
• Strong written verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization and the leadership team
