Job Descrption
The Admission Officer will play a crucial role in the Istituto Marangoni admissions process.
He / she will be responsible for evaluating applications, assisting prospective students through the admissions process, and ensuring compliance with CAA and Istituto Marangoni policies and standards.
This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a passion for higher education.
Key Responsibilities:
Admission Process Management – Review and evaluate applications for undergraduate and graduate programs, ensuring completeness and accuracy of documentation. Ensure adherence to CAA and Istituto Marangoni admissions policies, as well as relevant local and international regulations governing admissions procedures and student data privacy. Verify applicant credentials, including transcripts, test scores, and other supporting documents. Under the coordination of the manager, communicate with applicants regarding missing documents, application status, and admission... decisions.
Documentation Management - Maintain accurate records of applicant data, correspondence, and admissions decisions using Istituto Marangoni student information system.
Reporting - Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends, track conversion rates, and evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment initiatives. Use insights from data analysis to support Manager in making data-driven decisions and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the admission process.
Admission Process Implementation - Stay informed about trends and best practices in admissions and higher education, and contribute to ongoing efforts to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the admissions process.
Professional and Educational Background
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; master's degree preferred.
Previous experience as registrar is mandatory.
Previous experience in admissions department within a higher education institution, preferably in a multicultural environment. .
Knowledge of local and international education systems, standardized testing requirements, and accreditation standards.
Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or other languages commonly spoken in the region is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations
