Job Descrption
Please only apply if you have experience in brokerage and forex bookkeeping of at least five years.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company's Forex transactions.
• Update accounts, including Forex trading accounts, bank statements, and ledgers regularly.
• Process daily financial transactions, ensuring that all entries are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
• Monitor and manage cash flow related to Forex trading activities.
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, with a focus on Forex trading activities.
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and international accounting standards.
• Collaborate with the trading and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting of Forex transactions.
• Support the external audit process by... providing necessary documentation and information.
• Stay informed about developments in the Forex market and their potential impact on financial records.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in bookkeeping within a Forex brokerage or similar financial role.
• Knowledge of UAE corporate tax regulations is essential.
• Strong understanding of Forex trading and its financial implications.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of local financial regulations and international accounting standards.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required; additional languages are a plus.
