As a Principal Software Engineer, you'll build the world’s fastest public cloud and make a difference to millions of people across the planet. We are seeking an experienced and visionary Principal Software Engineer to lead our fundamentals efforts to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our products across various platforms. You will provide technical leadership and guidance to the larger fundamentals team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute the fundamentals strategy. You will drive innovation and best practices in fundamentals design, implementation, and testing. You will also mentor and coach team members to enhance their technical skills.

Software Engineering IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
