Our Azure Host Networking team is dedicated to ensuring that these platforms perform at hyper-fast speeds, thanks to our world-class Software Defined Networking (SDN) data path. We are searching for a senior software engineer who is enthusiastic about hardware and performance to ensure that new platforms will continue to meet the ever-increasing networking needs of our customers.
As a Senior Software Engineer in the Azure Host Networking team, your work will not only ensure the highest performance and reliability of networking as a fundamental infrastructure service but also shape the future of Azure's new hardware platforms. Your expertise in hardware innovation and network workloads will drive performance analysis, cloud-scale development, and automation, positioning you as a key player in Azure's growth and the AI industry.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
