Azure Site Reliability Engineering teams strive to improve reliability fundamentals via software engineering, preferring long-lasting platform improvements delivered as engineering projects over repetitive manual operations. We contribute to the product fundamentals and architecture, share knowledge, and code, and prefer reuse over re-invention, always looking for ways to make what we build useful to multiple teams and products.

Responsibilities
- Develop and evangelize insights, best practices, and standards that can be applied to improve system, platform, and/or product development and operations across the business.
- Collaborate with customers and partner teams to identify scenarios and establish priorities.
- Lead end-to-end planning and implementation of service capability model for scenarios based on service and customer data insights.
- Define objectives and key results and execute plans for improving key results
- Partner with development teams on scenarios, product tradeoffs, and incremental value delivery
- Create win-win engagements with partners across Azure and Microsoft to drive customer value
- Prepare and deliver high-quality executive reviews
- Generate energy and alignment across teams through meetings, with clear customer and program goals
- Present to customers and internal stakeholders; utilize feedback to continuously improve the product

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent experience
- 1+ year(s) experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
- 2+ years of experience on Azure/other cloud platforms
Other Qualifications:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent experience
- 4+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
- 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos)
- 2+ years experience using Kusto, KQL, syslog, and data analytics tools: Python, Excel, Power BI
- Hands-on experience in Data Analytics products, e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), and Power Query
Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.
