Does building hyperscale solutions to manage and scale out infrastructure and capacity across multiple clouds, both public and government-owned intrigue you? The OneFleet team owns anything and everything required to take hardware and make it usable up to the point that a customer workload can land on that new capacity and manage its lifecycle. You can support both the national security mission of the US government as well as demands of the burgeoning public Azure cloud simultaneously on the OneFleet team.
As a Software Engineer II in Microsoft Azure’s OneFleet team, you will help build out hyperscale solutions to solve the most pressing problem – how to add and manage capacity in a fully automated fashion that works across multiple clouds. You will perform full-stack, though emphasis on backend, engineering in order to support new types of capacity, everything from AI to supercomputing. Your software will run on many millions of machines to provide the heartbeat of the cloud. This opportunity will allow you to hone your engineering skills, architect at a global scale, and drive the national security mission of the US government. This opportunity allows a hybrid work environment wherein you can work part of the time from home. It is possible to be almost fully remote except for work being done in the secure spaces as required for the US government clouds.
Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.
