Are you a curious and independent Software Engineer 2 who’s looking for a unique role? Come work on one of the most complicated Test Systems in the world, responsible for validating every OS used by Microsoft’s product portfolio spanning Xbox, HoloLens, Azure Host, IoT, Desktop, and Server.
The Quality and Validation team is responsible for building the test orchestration solutions used to validate the quality of every Windows build produced by our engineering system (and more). The results generated from the system are crucial to key business decisions like code flow and releasing monthly security updates. The team is continuously partnering with AE+P teams to meet their ever-changing needs, as well as deliver a reliable, efficient, and secure system. We are now faced with new challenges as we are called upon to support the effort to make Azure the most reliable cloud platform available.
We are looking for a experienced Software Engineer 2 that’s excited about building micro-service solutions and having a real impact on overall Azure and Windows quality. Along with the rest of the team, your responsibilities will include maintaining a healthy and mature service while expanding capabilities through targeted feature investments. We are a full dev-ops team, so you’ll have your opportunity to grow a wide range of technical skills including scripting, SQL, C#, and a range of Azure technologies.

Preferred Qualifications
Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.
