The Commerce + Ecosystem (C+E) team is working to enable easier experience for customers and partners to grow, as well as to buy and do business with us by delivering a dependable, safe and secure commerce infrastructure.
The C+E Sales, Partner & Supply Chain (SPS) team works on three major areas:
We build the tool chain for the Microsoft sales force to enable pre-sales, sales in New Commerce, Co-selling with Partners, and post sales engagement.
We build systems that enable the Microsoft partner ecosystem. Including the Microsoft cloud partner program, The New Commerce breadth motion or CSP and the systems to motivate partners to drive the right business and customers outcome.
We build a platform that powers the device and cloud supply chains for Microsoft.

This position will be in Portal Platform engineering team responsible for building the platform and infrastructure services that power the Partner Portal (partner.microsoft.com) and also own all the listening and feedback tools like NPS and Support. This is a very visible role with high impact where all the components you build will be used by our entire ecosystem of internal and external stakeholders. As a Senior Software Engineer in this team, you will have the opportunity to explore and innovate using cutting edge technologies and drive business processes and contribute to strategy and broader vision. You will be working on services that are built from the ground up and lead the design and architecture of our services.
Successful candidates should have a passion for UX and proven experience developing cloud services. You should also exhibit various attributes which will enhance their ability to succeed in this position.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
