Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) Finance is driving shareholder value in 60 subsidiaries and carries the local accountability for the financials as well as statutory and compliance matters across all segments and products. We are looking to hire a Senior Finance Manager (MACC) to our team. We:
- Land the company vision around the transformation of our business, consumption, and customer orientation in the subsidiaries and externally.
- Guide strategic resource allocation and investments through local insights, ensuring optimal returns aligned with our worldwide strategy. Key focus is on New Business with an industry and workload perspective.

Within MCAPS, Microsoft’s Industry & Partner Sales (IPS) organization is accountable for delivering sales excellence and business growth by driving effective sales execution at the top of our Enterprise sales engine and funnel.
This position will be an integral member of the MCAPS Enterprise & Industry Finance team focusing on end-to-end Microsoft Azure Commitment to Consume (MACC) MCAPS Finance ownership leading the monthly, quarterly and annual processes for MACC across performance analytics, MACC to Azure Consumed Revenue (MACC2ACR), forecasting and budgeting. This role has close partnerships with the Azure engineering group (EG) finance, MCAPS Finance Azure Core, Azure controllers across the areas, Central Finance Team (CFT) and Global Enterprise Sales (GES) business team.

Responsibilities
- Own MCAPS MACC Signature monthly close, forecast, and annual planning process to influence and support MCAPS business partners and MCAPS/EG/CFT Finance leadership decision making on company bookings investment and strategy. Communicate required deliverables clearly and facilitate reviews with executive leaders in a timely manner.
- Lead the evolution of MACC2ACR framework and provide Innovation Acceleration Program (IAP) execution guidance and insights by partnering across sales teams and functions to accelerate ACR, and especially Artificial Intelligence (AI) workloads, growth through the MACC offering.
- Model and analyze performance trends, MACC/ACR motivators, and key performance indicators (KPIs) and proactively recommend action to motivate further business improvement. Through clear financial storytelling, communicate and collaborate with business partners to surface actionable insights.
- Partner with FD&E (Finance, Data, & Experiences) and EG Finance to enhance MACC data infrastructure for improvement of data accuracy, enrichment, and scalability.
- Embrace new information and proactively look for ways to better understand, predict, and communicate business performance and insights to activate MACC conversations across teams, to create clarity and generate energy on MACC2ACR field readiness and execution.
- Partner with Azure EG Deal economics team and Deal Desk on large strategic deals to ensure these are accurately captured in the MACC forecasting and planning processes.

Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
- OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
- OR equivalent experience.
Additonal/Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced analytics and structured thinking, reinforced by advanced revenue and pipeline management experience.
- Skilled in navigating through ambiguous situation and business problems.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively across stakeholders at different levels of seniority. Effective executive level communication skills and presence.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize across multiple projects and competing tasks.
- Ability to influence without authority and to build productive partnerships with key Finance & Business partners.
Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $91,800 - $178,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $117,900 - $195,000 per year.
