Microsoft’s Cloud Operations and Innovation Organization is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager for the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Office. This role will enable the next generation Specialty Computing & Artificial Intelligence (AI) at scale for datacenter operations. This position will require effective program management & cross-organizational collaboration with planning, supply chain, hardware engineering, data center design and data center operations organizations. As Microsoft's cloud business continues to grow, the ability to deploy new hardware infrastructure and significantly scale computing capacity is of paramount importance. The candidate will enable mechanical, networking, power, and cooling technologies to result in improved uptime for our customers and a lower cost of operations.
We seek an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager, ideally with a technical background in datacenter critical environments (power, cooling, energy, etc), who can distill the needs of our internal business partners and work with subject matter experts (SME) to ensure those requirements are met. The ideal candidate has experience leading complex server hardware, datacenter infrastructure or process initiatives to ensure a highly functioning cross-functional collaboration and solve technical and non-technical challenges.
Skill set covers problem solving, communication (verbal and written), and working through ambiguity is required. You will have the opportunity to build cross-team partnerships to transform new hardware concepts into scalable solutions in Microsoft’s Cloud Datacenters.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
