• Research, design, develop, build and test large distributed components.
• Collaborate with other teams across the company to ideate new projects, lead the executions and land the impact.
• Identify performance issues in the existing systems and drive changes to fix those.
• Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources.
• Complete large
  projects independently without guidance.
• Handle large scale data storage, synchronization and coordination of large server cluster.
• Code using primarily C/C++, Java, PHP and Hack.
• Conduct design and code reviews.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field. Requires completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis in the following:
• 1. Coding in one of the following industry-standard languages: C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Javascript
• 2. Python, PHP, or Haskell
• 3. Software development tools: Code editors (VIM or Emacs), and revision control systems (Subversion, GIT, or Perforce)
• 4. Linux, UNIX, or other *nix-like OS including file manipulation and simple commands
• 5. Core web technologies: HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
