You’ll collaborate with engineers across Apple to enable cutting edge graphics, machine learning, and compute applications on next generations of Apple Silicon devices from bring-up to product launch.
Key Qualifications
Experience managing or leading engineering team
Technical background in operating systems and computer architecture
Experience working on large software projects
Excellent communication skill and experience leading cross functional projects
Knowledge of C/C++ and scripting languages (Python, Perl)
Description
As a member of the overall Apple Silicon GPU Driver Team, you and your team will be responsible for bringing up, delivering, and integrating our GPU software stack across a wide range of Apple products for iOS, Vision OS and emerging platforms. This includes delivering platform-specific features, tuning for power and performance, as well as triaging issues reported by cross-functional and factory testing.
Your responsibilities will also include working across the organization to establish and maintain a consistent process and level of quality, and develop new technologies and methods to support the GPU productization of our new generations of products.
Education & Experience
BS, MS or other advance degree in Engineering or Computer Science with over 5 years of combined development and management experience.
Additional Requirements
* Knowledge of GPU architecture and Graphics/Compute APIs is a plus
* Experience with Silicon bring-up is a plus
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $183,400.00 and $316,900.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
