Salary: $36.56 - $39.81/hour  (Employees in this job classification begin at Step 5 of the pay scale) 
The starting salary is based on education and experience.  Starting salary for promotional candidates will follow contractual requirements
  • Additional shift differential $3.00/hour while working 2nd shift hours
  • Additional shift differential $4.50/hour while working 3rd shift hours
  • Additional weekend differential $2.10/hour while working weekend hours 
In addition, the selected candidate may qualify for a $200/month nursing student loan reimbursement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Riverview Psychiatric Center is seeking Graduate Nurses, this first level of professional nursing work involves the care and treatment of individuals with mental illness. Work is performed under general supervision. Schedules currently available: 7a-7p and 11a-11p. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current State of Maine RN license.

Riverview Psychiatric Center is located on the Kennebec River in Augusta, Maine. Augusta is Maine’s capital city located one hour north of Portland, an award-winning city with excellent cultural opportunities and two and a half hours north of Boston. With a new state of the art high school, world class cancer care center, and the exciting redevelopment of the riverfront and downtown, Augusta is a wonderful place to live and work.

  • Gym Membership Reimbursement – Improve overall health with regular exercise and receive up to $40 per month to offset this expense. 
  • Health and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts – Set aside money pre-tax to help pay for out-of-pocket health care expenses and/or daycare expenses.
