Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 + Quarterly Bonus (up to 20% of base; OTE = $69k-$85k) + Employee Stock

Design Engineer (Manufacturing exp req) Description
Our client, an established manufacturer of custom components, is looking for a Design Engineer to add to their team in Roanoke, VA. You will be responsible for participating extensively in the ECO process by writing up the ECO cover sheet, preparing drawings for modification, and issuing the ECO package to documentation. You will work with other designers and engineers to draft, modify, and redraw existing tools and molds. To be successful in this role you must have excellent 3D Modeling Software skills (AutoCAD or Solidworks), as well as strong math skills. Design Engineer (Manufacturing exp req) Responsibilities
• Write up ECO cover sheets
• Prepare drawings for modification
• Issue ECO package to documentation
• Redraw and modify existing tools and molds
• Work with other designers to check drawings for accuracy
• Design & Detail of manufacturing fixtures
• Maintain documentation: ECO's, timesheets, schedule sheets, prints, etc
• Understand and follow quality-related standards and documentation
Design Engineer (Manufacturing exp req) Qualifications
• Manufacturing industry experience required
• 3D Modeling Software (ie. AutoCAD or Solidworks) experience required
• Drafting experience required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings required
• Solid knowledge of plane Geometry, Algebra I & II, Trigonometry required
