Area Operations Manager Description
Our client in the facilities services industry is looking for an Area Operations Manager to add to their team in Anaheim, CA. You will be responsible for overseeing all field operations personnel (~25 crew members) and activities to ensure the quality of services being provided throughout the western region (AZ, NV, CA, OR, WA). A majority of your time will be spent in the office on administrative duties and the rest of the time will be spent in the field checking in at jobsites. Our client is looking for someone with at least two (2) years of managing teams across multiple locations, with excellent communication skills and high level of attention to detail. Area Operations Manager Responsibilities
• Oversee all field operations personnel and activities within the region (AZ, NV, CA, OR, WA)
• Train, motivate, and perform job evaluations of field operations personnel (5 crews, ~25 people)
• Assign field personnel to daily work schedule and manage payroll
• Respond to client requests and concerns
• Marshal field personnel to respond to emergency jobs
• Manage quality assurance functions for each job within the region
• Maintain compliance and job site requirements
• Order uniforms for personnel and ensure warehouse supplies are stocked
• Maintain operations vehicles and equipment for the region
• Remain available outside of typical hours while crew are on job sites
Area Operations Manager Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience managing teams across multiple locations required
• Experience in Hospitality, Facilities Management or Services industry required
• Proficient with computers and MS Office, specifically Excel (spreadsheets) required
• Professionalism, attention to detail and follow up skills required
• Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Ability to travel as needed for visits to job sites required
• Bilingual Spanish a plus
