We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team to oversee and improve the running of our onsite manufacturing facility. This role requires a people focused manager to enable effective leadership of the manufacturing team whilst also having the technical knowledge to match.
What this role involves:
· Overall running of the factory floor with a team of around 40 people
· Managing and guiding team leaders with daily scrum goal setting
· Supporting team leaders in managing shift patterns, overtime and temping agencies
· Playing a key role in the management of holiday and absence along with any other employee related issues
· Reporting on KPI metrics to demonstrate the overall performance and efficiency of cells
· Executing the SIOP production plan effectively
· The implementation and use of lean methodologies and CI tools to improve overall factory performance
· Creating and delivering training plans for staff to demonstrate new products or manufacturing changes
What we’re looking for:
· Experience of managing teams to achieve targets/KPIs
· People-centric approach to management at all levels
· Use of change management and conflict resolution practices
· Experience of managing in a manufacturing setting and the use of lean methodologies
· IT Literate across production programs and Microsoft Office Suites
· Excellent communication skills
· Relevant Degree or HND experience desirable
