Technical Manager - Power Burners at Zeeco

Job Descrption
The Technical Manager - Power Burners EMEA will be part of the power group responsible for a variety of technical and process engineering tasks, which are vital elements of our sales bid process and key components for successful execution of orders. They will primarily be responsible for assisting with technical elements of our enquiries by; selecting appropriate products to apply, determine sizing's, analyse the process requirements, and review specifications. They will also be responsible for additional technical design work/studies in which we are looking to execute in house.
Responsibilities include:
- Become the responsible member for initial technical burner sizing's and all technical aspects of the sales teams bid process.
- Assist with carrying out technical design work such as H&M balances, CFD analyses, Boiler Impact Studies etc.
- Assist with the detailed design and specification of appropriate equipment for the application.
- Be responsible for keeping our bids aligned to any technology/design changes.
- Assists with writing, editing, and signing formal quotations.
- Travels to customer's facilities to discuss the technical aspects of proposals and solutions.
- Determines drawings needed for quotation and coordinates their completion.
- Assist our execution teams on any technical aspects of the delivery such as datasheets and be responsible for carrying out process design checks.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned that are based on appropriate skills and experience.
The Candidate:
- Boiler Industry Knowledge & Experience (Vital)
- Educated to Degree level (Engineering degree preferred)
- Must be able to use Word, Excel, Outlook. Familiarity with AutoCAD would be a benefit.
- Must be familiar with watertube boiler study software.
- Excellent communicator - verbal and written (English Language)
- Experience within a manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
- Must be open to travelling to clients.
