Purpose of Your Job
To drive the facility vehicle to transport residents and staff to desired destination.
Responsibilities:
Review daily transportation schedule and be available.
Provide minimal assist of residents transferring to and from wheelchair.
Assist resident and nursing staff with transfer to and from vehicle.
Operate elevator as needed.
Inform nursing staff of an incidents immediately.
Maintain positive professional interactions with residents and staff.
Attend in-services.
Adhere to facility policies and procedures..
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED.
Must be 18 years of age.
Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to essential job duties.
Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect.
Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.
Caregivers must complete our new hire orientation..
Valid driver's license
