Purpose of Your Job
- To drive the facility vehicle to transport residents and staff to desired destination.
Responsibilities:
- Review daily transportation schedule and be available.
- Provide minimal assist of residents transferring to and from wheelchair.
- Assist resident and nursing staff with transfer to and from vehicle.
- Operate elevator as needed.
- Inform nursing staff of an incidents immediately.
- Maintain positive professional interactions with residents and staff.
- Attend in-services.
- Adhere to facility policies and procedures..
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to essential job duties.
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect.
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.
- Caregivers must complete our new hire orientation..
- Valid driver's license
