Reports To: General Manager of Production Engineering
Description:
Leads and oversees multiple new process projects from concept through final plant hand-off.
Responsibilities:
Performs all responsibilities of process engineer based on previous titles of Process
Engineer Level 1.
Leads and oversees the entire processing project while meeting all customer schedule trial
builds and launches.
Must work in a safe manner in compliance with KNA policies and maintain an awareness of danger to themselves and others.
Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures.
Authorities for an employee are granted by means of work instructions, policies and procedures and/or direction provided by management to meet the requirements of the customer
EDUCATION
High school diploma + 10 Years Maintenance Experience; or BS Degree in ME, IE, or ET; or AAS in Mechatronics, Maintenance, or Tooling
EXPERIENCE
3 or more years in the relevant engineering field and based on documented performance reviews from General Manager of Production Engineering
SKILLS:
Experience working with Windows operating system as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint),
Proficient in AutoCad, and/or Solidworks experience
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to write technical reports
Proficient at troubleshooting - root cause analysis and problem solving techniques
Proficient in forming, automation, and pokayoke processes
Knowledge of ISO/IATF
Work Environment:
This job operates in an office and manufacturing environment, and routinely uses standard office equipment the noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud
Physical Demands:
The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds The employee may also be required to work in hot temperatures
