Job title: Director of Marketing
Salary: Starting $135-160k Base + Incentives
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm
Location: Hillsboro, Oregon
The Director of Marketing for PARR will be the key driver in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive sales opportunities, and promote brand awareness. Their focus will be promoting PARR's strength as the Total Home Building Source to residential home builders, as well as promotion of the outdoor living category, and finally, solutions for Do-it-yourself homeowners.
This position reports to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing and interacts daily with all levels of management as well as internal and external customers. The Director of Marketing is part of the PARR Leadership Team (PLT), attends monthly PLT meetings, and shares the responsibility of shepherding PARR into the future.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Director of Marketing or in a senior marketing role within the LBM industry
Demonstrate strategic thinking and ability to develop and execute successful long-term marketing strategies focused on multiple segments
Exceptional leadership and team management skills with a collaborative and inclusive approach
Results driven and able to establish KPIs to regularly evaluate campaign effectiveness
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly
Strong Teamwork skills to allow for support of many different locations and departments. Its critical to work well with others, be able to take in, prioritize, and execute a high volume of varied requests
Creativity is a must to bring a fresh approach to customer events and bring creative ideas to introducing customers to a new look and new offering from PARR
Strong networking skills and willingness to represent Parr at various trade organizations and charitable events
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA is a plus
Ability to speak, write, and read English required
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Must be able to type 30+ WPM
Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and implement marketing vision and strategy aligned with company objectives and industry trends
Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives
Utilize data-driven insights to refine and optimize marketing campaigns, demonstrating a commitment to measurable results
Collaborate with sales teams to align marketing efforts with revenue goals, market penetration strategies in multiple regions, and wallet share growth throughout the footprint
Wallet share growth will consist of promoting Truss Manufacturing, Door and Millwork services, Window offering to both new construction and retro replacement, and the Cabinet Design Centers
Understand, promote, and help teach the benefits of Opti-Frame precut framing system
Drive brand awareness and differentiation through innovative and impactful marketing strategies
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Regional Sales Managers, Director of Purchasing, Location Managers, and industry partners
Oversee the development of compelling content across various channels to engage and resonate with multiple target audiences
Collaborate with IT to oversee web site development and management including the development of e-commerce site
Stay abreast of industry developments, competition, and emerging trends to maintain a competitive edge
Perform other related duties as assigned
Working Conditions:
The primary working conditions are an office environment with a computer.
The job requires some travel to all PARR locations in the Northwest. The job is primarily daytime, within a 6am to 6pm window, as a typical 40 hours per week salaried position.

Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Must be able to work in an office environment
Must be able to drive a company vehicle when necessary
Both local and overnight travel may be required
Ability to utilize all appropriate safety equipment
