Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day aspects of benefit administration. Acts as the back-up to the HR Generalist.
Qualifications:
Education: Associates Degree in business or related field. Bachelor Degree in HR preferred.
Experience: One to three years of HR experience. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Functions:
A: Job Specific:
Researches and responds to employee inquiries.
Processes benefit enrollments and updates/maintains benefits in ADP and associated provider systems.
Assists with the coordination of open enrollment and initial benefit enrollment.
Processes monthly employee benefit billings.
Provides first line support for all benefit and disability queries.
Acts as a back-up for payroll processing.
Assists with the coordination of the Wellness program.
Enrolls eligible participants into the cobra benefits program, and ensures insurance premiums are collected and processed in a timely manner.
Monitors premiums and tracks appropriate administration of benefits.

The ability to communicate effectively and clearly, both in verbal and written communications, as well as, present information to groups of managers, and employees.
