Job Descrption

Provides medical nutrition therapy following the nutrition care process and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Also provides nutrition education for staff, students, and the community in a variety of settings and formats. Actively participates in inter- and intradepartmental activities, meets relevant regulatory requirements, provides quality outcomes and maintains professional competencies. Serves as a resource for medical staff and allied health professionals. May also be involved in food service systems depending on individual job requirements. Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related field. Completion of an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited internship or approved training program. Minimum of one year clinical dietetics experience.Master’s degree in nutrition or related field and/or certification in sub-specialty field is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Registered Dietitian Nutritionist).
Certified Dietitian in the State of Wisconsin (Clinic – must meet requirement upon application; Hospital - must meet requirement within 2 months of hire).
