This role gives you the opportunity to lead or support on projects within Service & Delivery to help improve processes and deliver a greater self-service to our customers. As an Onboarding Manager you will be managing all people activities globally associated with the onboarding and screening of new hires.

As an Onboarding Manager you will be passionate about leading, coaching, and developing your team. You will have the responsibility to ensure all global team activities are completed to the highest standard and high attention to detail is maintained. You will be able to work effectively in a high volume, complex, fast paced environment, whilst being able to support your team.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for managing all Onboarding and Screening transactional activity globally to ensure delivery within agreed SLAs. 
  • Complete all weekly/monthly/annual compliance checks escalating any breaches as appropriate. 
  • Responsible for the effectiveness of Pre-Employment screening, ensuring all employees onboarded have the required level of checks. 
  • Third Party vendor management, providing insight as required and process improvement ideas.
  • Champion the People Team in the business, educating employees and managers on processes and policies. 
  • Be a point of escalation for employees, managers and colleagues.
  • Manage the workflow, prioritisation, and resource availability of the team.

This role will be Monday – Friday, 35 hours per week, with a minimum of 2 days based in our Bristol offices. 

What will you bring to the role?

This role requires, previous experience at leading a team successfully, whilst delivering excellent customer service. 

Other key skills required for the role include: 

  • Implementing and monitoring performance against SLAs and KPIs 
  • Experience of holding monthly 1-2-1s, managing performance and having robust career conversations
  • Adherence to confidentiality and data protection with an understanding of data protection regulations 
  • Highly organised with a methodical approach and an eye for detail 
  • Experience of prioritising workloads to competing demands 
  • Be self-motivated, use your initiative and work as part of a team 
  • Experience at identifying process improvements, communicating, embedding and training the team
