The UK Treasury Front Office team manages a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of client funds for various business lines. The team is responsible for banking relationships and rate negotiations, day-to-day cash management, FX execution, reporting and accounting, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and ongoing interactions with both internal and external stakeholders as it relates to the management of client and corporate funds.
The team works closely with Treasury Operations to achieve efficiencies in the overall cash management structure, facilitate the seamless flow of funds, provide thorough and comprehensive regulatory reporting, and optimize processes where applicable.
A role you will love
In this key role for our business, you will primarily be responsible for the following:
- Supervise a team of two treasury analysts to ensure the efficient and timely execution of departmental tasks, while also providing guidance and mentorship to foster their professional development
- Manage the FX management and execution, including interactions internal CPU departments and externally with banks. Look for ways to enhance the overall FX processes and improve profitability.
- Review and document existing Treasury processes in preparation for the implementation of a new Treasury Management System. Draft formal operating procedures for multiple processes within the department that conform to best practices.
- Recommend enhancements and a more simplified approach to current Treasury processes through improving existing Excel models.
- Act as a back-up to the team. Executing processes around investment of client cash, obtaining forecasts from the business, interacting with banks on overnight flows, submitting money movements as needed to perform the function, performing income and rate calculations, etc.
- Drive functional excellence by identifying, developing, and implementing process control improvements in line with strategic vision.
- Oversee engagements with external auditors, internal auditors, and risk & compliance groups.
- Deliver a variety of other financial, administrative, and technical projects, as required
What will you bring to the role?
To excel in this role, it is expected that you will possess much of the following experience:
- University Degree in a relevant subject but Finance or Accounting preferred or equivalent work experience
- Expert ability to influence and negotiate to achieve outcomes at the highest level of the organization
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
- Experience in people management

- Certified Treasury Professional
- Chartered Financial Analyst
