Reporting to the Regional Director, Client Operations, this role involves the management of a team of Plan Specialists responsible for the ownership and delivery of SIP and SAYE employee share plan activity within the lifecycle of an Employee Share Pan.
Focusing solely on delivery to clients on Shareworks and EquatePlus, this role will involve working closely with the Regional Director, Client Operations to build and create a high performing team of specialists dedicated to delivering the highest possible standards of delivery to our corporate clients and their employees, helping to shape and drive the team to provide best in class and customer service excellence to all participants.

In collaboration with the Regional Director, Client Operations, create a high performing team of professionals dedicated to the delivery of all SIP and SAYE employee share Plan related activity.
You are responsible for the daily management of a team of Plan Specialists in order to maintain a high performing team. To encompass the management of recruitment, absence, performance, training, and other related matters as required, in collaboration with the people services team.
You are accountable for the weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual resource planning, scheduling, and allocation of tasks, as well as the timely completion of all processes assigned to the team, which include, but are not limited to:
Assist in the development, implementation, and upkeep of streamlined operational procedures for all employee share plan activities on Shareworks and EquatePlus. This includes identifying ongoing opportunities for process enhancement and ensuring that we maintain a strict operational discipline with minimal deviation from these procedures as the functional area expands.
Where appropriate, develop and maintain detailed documentation with respect at to all SIP and SAYE related processes and in doing so ensure continued operational control and governance over these processes.
Ensure that you and your team adhere to ongoing regulatory obligations regarding data protection and client asset regulations across the entire function. Along with the Plan Specialists, provide expert advice and knowledge to the wider business and client base with respect to all SIP and SAYE related activities.
Work with various internal stakeholders to ensure successful transition of plans from Shareworks to EquatePlus
What will you bring to the role?
• Minimum three years’ experience in the financial services industry, with two years' experience working in a share plans or financial compensation environment preferred.
• Significant proven experience of managing large operational teams, preferably in a complex regulatory environment.
• Evidence of working on or closely with a project designed to radically overhaul processes and operational delivery is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of communicating ideas to a wide variety of audiences.
• Passionate about customer delivery, with evidence of championing and maintaining strong customer delivery to a large client and customer base.
• Strong personal and operational organisational skills, able to manage multiple complex activities running in parallel.
