- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, processes, and always acting in a safe manner
- Working with product managers, architects, UX designers and development teams to ensure the business, quality and feature goals are met for each release
- Responsible for the design, usability, and quality of releases
- Responsible for ease of product upgrade and migration from prior releases with minimal issues and complexity
- Collaborating with R&D and program managers to translate business requirements into user stories
- Maintaining a prioritized backlog of user stories, features, and defects
- Participating in ongoing update, priority, and planning reviews & retrospectives
- Inspiring and motivating the engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency
- 5+ years of experience as a product owner or product manager
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or related field
- Deep knowledge of data, data analysis and relative visualization tools such as Power BI
- Concepts of data models and domain driven data sets
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
- Deep knowledge of the DevOps tool chain (Testing, Automation, Collaboration, Monitoring, etc.)
- Understanding of the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery market
- Excellent soft skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Understand the challenges and nuances of enterprise software upgrades and integrations
- Development background utilizing agile methodologies
- Ability to explain a concept in simple terms
