We are looking for a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to join our Operations team. You will be responsible for the supervision of all operations at the Amboy facility during your assigned shift.
What you’ll do:
- Direct production activities in a safe and efficient manner by leading, motivating, and training employees.
- Foster, promote, and enforce a safety and quality culture by adhering to all rules and regulations.
- Manage department priorities and ensure completion of appropriate production, processing, and sanitation documentation.
- Conduct HR related activities including performance evaluations, employee counseling, and payroll.
- Utilize strategies to improve yields and throughput and reduce waste, rejections, and complaints.
- Ensure that all product produced conforms to product specifications.
What you’ll bring:
- BA or BS degree preferred or at least 5 years’ experience in related food or dairy business.
- Preferably 2+ years of supervisory experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with both production staff and management.
- Excellent organizational skills, leadership qualities, and interpersonal skills.
