Financial Analyst I – Corporate FP&A
Omnicell is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team to support monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, ad-hoc analysis, and other FP&A responsibilities. This role will be highly visible to key functional leaders and will report to the Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis. The role will have the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Partner and collaborate with functional leaders to develop annual plans, monthly forecasts, and to support strategic initiatives within the functional unit
- Support financial analysis of spending related to General & Administrative functions including variances to plan, variances to forecast, and any risks or opportunities
- Develop and maintain accurate headcount reporting
- Track, analyze, and report on key metrics of the business
- Identify and recommend improvements to drive financial performance
- Prepare presentations for senior management
- Partner with accounting group on a monthly and quarterly basis to ensure accurate recording of accruals in accordance with GAAP
- Research and recommend new processes or improvements to current processes
- Engage in ad-hoc analysis/special projects
Required Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel & PowerPoint
- Self-starter with a positive attitude and readiness to challenge
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with ERP/financial reporting/forecasting systems (such as Oracle Hyperion and SAP)
